The forming of a co-founders group of early adopter students to design and lead the programme

-  The co-design of self- diagnostic tool, survey and metrics based on the MAS Financial Capabilities Outcomes Framework and, in parallel, the Warwick Edinburgh Wellbeing Measure.

-  Workshops covering topics such as motivating and engaging students in financial matters, influencing others, opening up conversations managing day to day and looking at the bigger picture.

The MoneyLab project is supported by trained facilitators and service designers and draws on a number of models and approaches already being tested in Ravensbourne (Growing Creative Leaders of the Future, Vital Ideas Mentoring , The Silicon Health Valley project – funded by research and Higher Education such as the Leadership Foundation and HEFCE).

The Money Advice Service is an independent body with responsibility for improving people’s money management. One of the aims of the MAS Financial Capability Strategy is to support young people in Higher Education, particularly those affected by changes to funding and those faced with higher student loan repayments on graduation.
